“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
– 1 Timothy 4:12
At Madison Church of the Nazarene, we love students and believe that God has an exciting plan and purpose for each one. Because of this, we strive to guide young people as they embark on this journey, modeling for them what it means to be a follower of Christ in truth and love. We have taken on 1 Timothy 4:12 as our theme verse because we believe that students have the power and potential to do big things when God is the center of their lives.
Our Youth Ministry exists to disciple and unite students, reach non-believing students, and to allow students to serve with their talents and abilities while honoring God with their entire life.
These purposes are met in the following ways:
Sunday Morning Worship
Wednesday Night Discipleship Group
Friendship Evangelism (inviting friends and community youth to events and services)
District Events (TNT, Camp, Fall Retreat)
Monthly Fun Events
Service (in the community and within the church)
All of this is shaped by the values that are found in the Church of the Nazarene 2013-2017 Manual, 810.004.
